Training: Mandated Reporters

Mandated reporters are identified by their departments and divisions.

To request that an individual be designated as a mandated reporter, please follow the steps below:

Step 1: Review the Caltech Standards for Interacting with Minors.

Step 2: Complete the Mandated Reporter Request Form to initiate the process.
Once submitted, HR EOD (Employee & Organizational Development) will initiate:

• Criminal background check
• Prevention of Unlawful Harassment Training
• Employee Acknowledgement of Mandated Reporter Status Form

Step 3: The designated mandated reporter will receive an email from EOD Compliance containing detailed instructions for completing the required training.
